Guar Gum

PZT-GUAR-1: A natural polysaccharide extracted from guar bean endosperm, offering economical viscosity build for WBM at the cost of weaker shear-thinning and more insoluble residue than xanthan. Key characteristics: Cost-effective relative to xanthan/welan; Good viscosity yield per unit dosage; Leaves more insoluble residue than premium biopolymers. Typical applications: Economy-tier viscosifier for shallow-to-moderate-depth WBM; Also broadly used as a fracturing fluid viscosifier outside drilling.
