PZT-SPACER-1: An engineered-density fluid pumped between drilling mud and cement slurry to physically separate the two and prevent contamination that would compromise the cement's final properties. Key characteristics: Density and rheology engineered for compatibility with both the displaced mud and the following cement slurry; Often weighted with barite.
